A: HRBP stands for Hampton Roads Black Pride or Hampton Roads Black Gay Pride.

Who is HRBP catered to?
A: Though our name is Hampton Roads BLACK Pride, we do not limit our association with only African Americans. As mentioned on our Home page, we know that black is not one color, but where all the colors come together. With that in mind, HRBP is catered to everyone, or every race in the urban community.
Q: How can I stay up to date on the latest news from HRBP?
A: The best way to stay up to date on the latest news from HRBP is to come to our weekly meetings, held every Sunday at Mixers, at 4:00pm. If you cannot make these meetings, then the 2nd way to stay up to date is to join our mailing list, where all meeting minutes are sent, along with breaking updates on Pride Week, upcoming events and so much more! Q: Who do I contact if I want to help with marketing & promotions?
A: To join our street teams or help with the promoting of Hampton Roads Black Pride, please join our mailing list and choose Marketing as your first choice of interest. You will be added to our marketing list and we will contact you as soon as volunteer work is needed. If you have special skills in the marketing area, please also send us an email detailing your skills so that a staff member can contact you directly with potential marketing plans.
Q: How can I sponsor HRBP?
A: HRBP has many options for businesses to advertise with us and sponsor our upcoming events, including Pride Week. If we have not contacted you first, please email us your business information and include your interest in seeing our sponsorship options. We will have a staff member contact you and set an appointment where we can detail the sponsorship options with you in person.
Q: Who runs HRBP?
A: The structure of HRBP is meant to be ran by the President, seven directors and about 15 key members. We currently are recruiting volunteers, street teams and sales team members. If you are interested in learning more, the best way is to come to our next meeting! Contact Us with your Name, Phone number and Email address and we will make sure you stay informed to the latest news and happenings of HRBP.

A: If you missed a HRBP meeting and want to find out what was discussed, view out Meetings page, where you can see our prior meeting minutes from past meetings. Recent meeting minutes may take up to 5 days to be uploaded to the site.
Q: Where do I submit my suggestions or feedback?
A: Hampton Roads Black Pride gladly welcomes all feedback, comments and suggestions. Please submit these by email through our Contact Us page. We will be sure to have a staff members contact you shortly!

A: Hampton Roads Black Pride gladly promotes all events that bring the community together in harmony! If you would like to have your upcoming event listed on our calendar, please send us an email through our Contact Us page detailing all the information of your events, including date, time, location, theme, dress code, cover charge, etc.

A: If an event has a pre-registration, it can be found on our Events & Registrations page. From that tab, look to the left navigation bar for the registration of that event (example: Register for Speed Dating).
